I can't get enough of: Vintage Cocktail Rings

Lately on my weekend treasure hunts I have been completely drawn to vintage cocktail rings. Rhinestone cluster rings are my favorite. The Sarah Coventry Aurora Borealis ring on the right is such a treasure. They are so sparkly and make me want to go on the town Madmen style.

Here are a couple more. Anything big, sparkely and/or colorful and I have to bring it home.

Also, I love this necklace. Enamel, forest lichen and white? Ag! It's so beautiful! Check out my other vintage accessories. More are listed at the beginning of each week.

Vintage Brass Letterpress Necklace by GwenDelicious

Just got my vintage letterpress necklace in brass from GwenDelicious after seeing them in the voter. Not only did it get here in no time at all, but it is so gorgeous! It's the first thing I own with my new initials (not to mention LF can ALSO stand for Lost & Fawned).

Check out the rest of the beautiful pieces over at her shop.

Red Raven Studios - Jewelry for Haiti Relief

After seeing them in an etsy feature about shops selling for Haiti relief I fell in love with Red Raven Studio's porcelain earrings. Amy selects the most gorgeous vintage ceramic decals and artfully fires time to crisp white porcelain to create beautiful earrings, brooches, pendants and buttons. Every piece is a little different and until the 31st 100% (that's right! ONE HUNDRED PERCENT) of the proceeds from her etsy shop will go directly to UNICEF's Haiti Relief Fund.

This morning I picked up the In Flight earrings pictured above for myself. She has so many gorgeous sets though it was hard to choose. Here are some others I was considering (and may have to go back for eventually).

Stop by her etsy shop before the 31st and help her raise money for Haiti relief (and treat yourself to something pretty at the same time).

Lost & Fawned Bridal Party

Earlier this summer I worked with a bride named Jessica to create some custom Jill Earrings for her bridesmaids. I loved the marbleized pink Czech glass beads we used and I was SO excited when she sent me some photos this morning! Jessica looks just gorgeous and the earrings looked perfect with her bridesmaid gowns and the pink roses. Congratulations to Jessica and her husband!

Her photographer was Mike Sidney out of Maui. Check out his website for more beautiful Hawaiian weddings.

Things I'm Loving - Vintage Brass Cuffs

I'm recently fallen in love with vintage brass cuffs and have started stocking them in Lost & Fawned to share the love. I've never really been able to wear cuffs since I have petite wrists and most in stores are too big for me. But I am finding that the vintage cuffs come in slightly smaller sizes so I can wear them without worrying that the overwhelm my hand.

I currently have two styles in stock, the Ines and Aimee. I'm on the hunt for more but I just wanted to share these beauties with all of you. My new favorite accessory for this autumn and winter for sure. Happy shopping everyone!

New Bold Necklaces from Urban Rose

My favorite new bridal look (especially with a killer strapless dress) is big, bold, statement jewelry. Urban Rose (or Rebecca3030) is one of my favorite etsy designers. Her work has such personality and she does such fun things with color. Naturally, I'm always a sucker for repurposed and vintage jewelry and her work has such a unique point of view. So many of her pieces have so much potential as bridal pieces too. They are all one of a kinds and are really a steal for the piece of art you'll be getting.

Check out her etsy shop for more beautiful pieces and information.

Lost of lovely shades of yellow and blue. I adore the way the all coordinated. I can't wait to see photos of her beautiful wedding! I'm sure it will be just gorgeous! Congrats Kelsey! I hope you love the jewelry!

Lastly my new Annabelle Earrings for a bold bride or bridesmaid. I can't get enough yellow these days and I paired it with pink quartz and gold for summer.

Custom Bouquet Lockets - Lost & Fawned has returned

Time for a shameless plug... Since school is out, I've started selling on etsy again, which means my custom bouquet lockets are also back in stock! I started making these last summer and they became so popular I had to stop making them during the school year in order to make time for school work.

These lockets are lovely made to your specifications and feature your choice of charms and crystal colors so it suits the couple and wedding perfectly. They are secured to either a wire or now a ribbon which is wrapped around the handle of the bouquet. Brides have used it to hold a photo of a loved one who cannot be there, their parent's wedding photos, a wedding monogram or a picture of their groom.

I have only one (maybe two) of the beautiful white gold plated lockets left but have many of the gorgeous antique brass lockets. If you are interested, please visit my etsy store Lost & Fawned for more information and pricing. I would love to do one of these for you or a soon to be bride.

I also do bridesmaid and bridal jewelry. I have lots of options available and love to work with brides to come up with something special just for them. I have a very wide range of prices and discount for bulk orders. Below are my Jill Earrings that come in just about any color imaginable. Visit my store for more options and pricing.

So there we have it. Back to your regular scheduled wedding planning! Have a fantastic summer day guys! And happy planning!

For the right wedding...

How gorgeous are these piece of jewelry? They are TRULY works of art in my opinion. I found these while surfing etsy in Rebecca3030's shop and instantly fell in love. I totally recognize they may not be for everyone since they certainly make a statement, but I think the also have a beautiful sense of softness and femininity to them that would be lovely as a bridal piece. They would be lovely for a bridesmaid too (she has so more understated pieces in there as well). I just had to share. I got so excited when I saw them.

Sorry I've been MIA lately by the way. My computer has been on the fritz (hence in inconsistency in photo size as well) and it will soon be replaced with a new, shiny, WORKING computer. My thesis paper is finished (Phew!) and I'm starting my project as well as finishing up my self branding suite (letterhead, biz cards, etc.) and working on preparing my portfolio (re-rendering everything from Junior year). So I'm still a busy girl, but I will try and update more often. Stick with me. :)

PS: Oh what I wouldn't give for this charm bracelet by Rebecca3030. How gorgeous is that? MUSTS SAVE MONEY!

Figs & Ginger - Bridesmaid Gifts

Now you all know I have a LITTLE thing for woodland creatures. Since last year I've had a MAJOR thing for Figs & Ginger (they are currently on vacation hiatus, but they'll be back). I happen to own both pairs of these earrings, the birdies and the fawns both in the silver finish (the patina finish is shown here) and I wear them daily. They are the perfect size to wear everyday, but are more interesting than a standard stud. All pieces are made-to-order with care and are made of eco-friendly sterling silver by a husband and wife team.

If you are looking for a little something to give your bridesmaids these would be a fabulous little gift. Heck, just pick up a pair for yourself. They are the most versatile piece of jewelry I've ever worn (besides my engagement ring of course).

(I'm apologizing now for this weekend's posts as they will be on the mushy side. You have been warned.)

Custom Cufflinks.

I have always loved the idea of these cufflinks by Anne Holman on etsy. They are completely customized from vintage maps to any location you desire. It could be the bride's hometown on one and the groom's hometown on the other. Or the location of your wedding and the place that you met. Or perhaps your honeymoon location. They would be a lovely surprise wedding gift the morning of or would be a beautiful touch to the grooms ensemble and a wonderful keepsake for years to come.

Check out her shop for more wonderful custom map adorned jewelry. A necklace with the city of the wedding could be a lovely shower gift for a friend as well.

More Jewelry from Jinyana

I just can't get over how beautiful Coral's jewelry is. The earrings above are next on my list to buy. Everything is so carefully designed and constructed. She really knows how to use filigree, pearls and crystals without making them look garish or overdone (as so many bridal jewelry designers do). She has a variety of price points covered and appears to do custom work as well. Check out her shop on etsy to fond more of her lovely pieces (including my earrings which also come in silver).

Thanks again Coral!

My Earrings - From Jinyana

If you remember from my post a couple of weeks ago, my mom purchased my jewelry as an early shower gift and gave me free reign to choose as I like (with her help of course). Naturally I wanted to support the handmade community so I turned to etsy. I posted my bracelet last week and now after two weeks of anticipation (shipping from Australia takes some time) my earrings have arrived.

I adore them. I found them in Jinyana's shop are some of the best I've seen in handmade jewelry. These will on etsy and when I saw them I litter ally gasped. I had never seen that filigree style before and the pearls and crystals were exactly what I was looking for. They are dramatic but still delicate and very vintage inspired. Plus the coordinate beautifully with my bracelet (see below) without looking like a made-to-match set. They were a little on the pricey side, BUT they are worth every penny as the materials and craftsmanshiptruly last forever and will become a beautiful piece I can hand down to a daughter.

Thanks you so much Mom.

Check back later for more beautiful jewelry from Jinyana. Thanks again Coral. They are lovely!
