Lost & Fawned Bridal Party

Earlier this summer I worked with a bride named Jessica to create some custom Jill Earrings for her bridesmaids. I loved the marbleized pink Czech glass beads we used and I was SO excited when she sent me some photos this morning! Jessica looks just gorgeous and the earrings looked perfect with her bridesmaid gowns and the pink roses. Congratulations to Jessica and her husband!

Her photographer was Mike Sidney out of Maui. Check out his website for more beautiful Hawaiian weddings.

New Lost & Fawned Pieces

Started re-stocking my shopfront. Here are a few of my new pieces for 2009. Above are my Jill Earrings in white a gold, a simple bridal earring at a reasonable price. These also come in silver and antiqued brass and I do them in custom colors for bridal parties.

Next is my Rose Marie Locket which I just finished and love. It could be a lovely bridal piece or a beautiful flower girl gift (on a shorter chain). Could also be made into a bouquet locket and then put on a chain afterward as a keepsake from the wedding.

Lastly my new Annabelle Earrings for a bold bride or bridesmaid. I can't get enough yellow these days and I paired it with pink quartz and gold for summer.

As always, I love working on custom orders, so if you are interested in any of these pieces or do something uniquely you, please send me a convo on etsy. Stay tuned, sometime next week we'll have our first lost and fawned giveaway!

Figs & Ginger - Bridesmaid Gifts

Now you all know I have a LITTLE thing for woodland creatures. Since last year I've had a MAJOR thing for Figs & Ginger (they are currently on vacation hiatus, but they'll be back). I happen to own both pairs of these earrings, the birdies and the fawns both in the silver finish (the patina finish is shown here) and I wear them daily. They are the perfect size to wear everyday, but are more interesting than a standard stud. All pieces are made-to-order with care and are made of eco-friendly sterling silver by a husband and wife team.

If you are looking for a little something to give your bridesmaids these would be a fabulous little gift. Heck, just pick up a pair for yourself. They are the most versatile piece of jewelry I've ever worn (besides my engagement ring of course).

(I'm apologizing now for this weekend's posts as they will be on the mushy side. You have been warned.)

Wraps by Pretty Raccoon

Etsy is currently featuring this fabulous seller who screen prints on American Apparel jersey scarves. Pretty Raccoon has a number of ready to ship scarves and also a custom listing where you pick your color and image (see images below). These could be great for a casual or modern wedding for the bridesmaids or as just a fabulous bridesmaid gift. I'm considering getting some as a gift for my ladies. I love the graphics they offer! And as always, the price is great, only $22 each!
